About Gallery Websites

Gallery Websites is an online service operated by Design Monkey Media Ltd. It gives art galleries the tools to create and run their own website, show artworks and artists, and sell works online.

These terms apply to everyone who uses the service, whether you run a gallery, work for one, or simply browse a gallery's website.

Your account

When you create an account you agree to give accurate details and to keep your password safe. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or subscribe to a plan.

Your gallery and your content

If you run a gallery, you keep full ownership of the artworks, images and text you publish through the service. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to publish and sell what you list.

We may remove content or suspend a gallery's website if it breaks the law, breaches someone else's rights, or brings the service into disrepute.

Subscriptions and payment

Running a gallery website requires an active monthly subscription. Fees are shown before you pay and are collected through Stripe. Where a discount code applies, the discount is applied on Stripe's payment page.

Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, and your website stays online until the end of the period you have paid for.

Sales made through a gallery

The contract for any artwork you buy is between you and the gallery selling it, not with Design Monkey Media Ltd. Each gallery sets its own prices, delivery arrangements and returns policy.

If you have a problem with an order, please contact the gallery directly. Payment details are handled by Stripe and are never stored by us.

Service availability

We work hard to keep the service available and running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change or withdraw parts of the service from time to time.

Ending these terms

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account if it seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms.

If your subscription ends, we may delete your gallery's content after a reasonable period; we will try to warn you first.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. When we make a significant change we will notify gallery owners through the service. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
